Faced with the expanse of the Rhine, the Customs border land between Khel and Strasbourg offers a fantastic potential for poetic dialogue between the two banks of the river.
In continuity with the impulsion given by the Park of the Two Banks, we wanted to take advantage of the exceptional situation by an ambitious urban project, magnifying the perception of the expanse from each of the two banks and restoring new uses in the landscape emblematic of the Rhine riverbanks.
For more than 3 km in depth, vast prairies and woods open to the river go hand in hand with and accompany the constructions placed back from and away from the river’s rise in level.
